Lived Experience Animation: Addressing Gambling Harms NIHR (PHIRST)

PHIRST South Bank at LSBU commissioned us to create a powerful animation exploring how lived experience can inform and improve services addressing gambling harms.  Our primary focus was to authentically represent the stories of individuals with lived experience, ensuring their contributions were valued and respected.  The animation also needed to effectively communicate key messages to third parties involved in supporting those affected by gambling harms.

Working in close collaboration with the PHIRST South Bank team, we developed a compelling script and integrated powerful voice-overs from individuals with lived experience. This collaborative approach was crucial to creating an animation that resonates with its target audience and drives positive change.

The final piece is being used as part of a wider evaluation on gambling harms with the aim to raise awareness and facilitate action to address GRH.
